Now’s the moment to deepen your preparation. Make sure everyone’s ready by completing essential learning, reviewing policies, and beginning to spread the word about your new Section.
Check your learning requirements and complete it by accessing My Learning on Scouts.org.uk.
It’s important you understand the key Scouts policies set out in Policies, Organisation and Rules.
Your Group and/or meeting place will have risk assessments to help with your planning and preparations for starting your Section.
Speak with your Group Lead Volunteer to talk about how other Sections in the Group manage their data and storage.

Use your community map to identify key people and locations for advertising.
