On the day of your first meeting

You may wish to use the Scouts Young Person Information Form (from our Administration and management webpage) to collect key information about the young people joining the Section.  

This form collects key relevant information to help you support the young person. It also includes emergency contact details, photograph consent, communication preferences and data protection. 

For certain activities, outings and nights away events, you’ll need further consent from the parents/carers, as well as a completed Activity Information Form. Talk about this with parents/carers, so they know about consent for activities.
