Championing the efforts and inclusive practices of our volunteers and young people is incredibly important to us. If you've had an experience within Scouts that made you feel welcome and included, or you've done something to support EDI in Scouting, we'd love to hear from you.

Scouts for SDGs

The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) acknowledge that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand in hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur the development of thriving communities and economies - all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

At Scouts, we recognise that EDI principles are embedded throughout all 17 of the SDGs and are taking steps to identify how we as an organisation can do our part to, in the words of Lord Baden-Powell, "leave the world a little better than you found it".
