Buying, selling or holding property with the SATC

Acquiring property

Key matters that the SATC would need to be involved with:

  • Appointment (when a Scout Unit holds a freehold and wants to appoint the SATC)
  • Buying (where a Scout Unit is purchasing a freehold and wants to appoint the SATC)
  • Gifting (where a Scout Unit is being gifted a freehold and wants to appoint the SATC)

Please use the relevant button below to select your specific matter. Start by reviewing the Procedure Document which explains the steps you will need to follow when using the SATC’s services.

You can contact the SATC at any stage of this process. Please note that for a matter to be approved, all relevant internal SATC documents will need to be signed and returned. Please also send draft versions of the documents that require signing by the SATC Board.

For a freehold purchase the SATC Board should sign both the contract and the transfer document.
