The New Provision Project Grant is for anything that isn't employing staff or associated costs.

We want you to think creatively. What are the barriers to delivering your Inclusive Growth plans locally?

Eligibility criteria

The project must:

  • Contribute to our Inclusive Growth objectives (opening new sections in IMD 1-3 areas and increasing our volunteers from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities)
  • Be completed by December 2025

Applicants will need to complete an online application form, which includes these questions.

Grant conditions

Successful applications will:

Agree to targets and conditions by signing a grant agreement.

Report through the monthly use of a simple online progress tracker

Establish a local method of governance to ensure operation within the grant agreement. This can be the Local Growth Steering Group established to oversee employment.

How will grants be awarded?

Assessments will be based on:

  • Impact against Inclusive Growth targets
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Value for money

The size of the grant will be based on:

  • The application's ranking
  • The reserves of the County and potentially the beneficiary Districts

Grant awards will be made at the discretion of the Scout Grants Committee based on recommendations by the Inclusive Growth Delivery Group.

How will funds be paid?

Funds will be transferred to the applicant at the start of the project.
