First Response content updates

This will result in changes, which will be communicated to all members and highlighted here before the end of 2026, as required by the Resuscitation Council.

The First Response Trainer is responsible for determining whether learners have met the learning outcomes based on practical assessment and oral questioning.
Is First Response externally recognised?
The First Response Course is designed specifically for adults in The Scouts and Girlguiding, based on the situations and issues that occur within those movements. It is not, therefore, externally recognised.
