Session summary
- This session highlights how we can reduce waste and creatively repurpose plastic.
- By the end of the session, your Scouts will have learnt how to weave plastic into mats. You might want to ask your young people to bring in old plastic bags from home.
Safety message
- Always complete a register at the start of the meeting to record who is present.
- Activities start when the first person arrives and end when the last person leaves, including leaders and their children.
- Check the space is for hazards, keep the exits clear, and know the location of the nearest first aid kits.
