Working at Unity Insurance

Meet some of our Unity Insurance staff and find out what they enjoy about working in our South Coast office.

Our working culture

There are many elements of our culture that we want to retain from pre-pandemic times, but we believe these are the most important:

  • Operating highly collaboratively, across departments and with a wide range of people (staff and volunteers)
  • Using social and informal contact when physically together to create energy and excitement
  • Maximising the creativity and innovation that comes from being physically together with people

There are elements of our working practices that have evolved during the pandemic that we
want to hold on to, these include:

  • Working at pace and in an agile way
  • More focus on wellbeing and work/life balance
  • Using technology to connect, collaborate and improve efficiency where it’s fit for the
    task

Collaborative working

We've created a space for collaborative working in our office at Gilwell Park, where you can jump into think tents for a meeting or plan team days in the amphitheatre.
