The current Explorer Programme hasn’t gone anywhere. All of the existing badges, resources and guidance are still available below, so you can continue using them while you explore what’s new.
Existing badges will also remain available from Scout Store while stocks last, giving you even more flexibility as you make the move.
Transition timeline
We know change takes time, so there’s a transition period running from June 2026 to August 2027.
There’s no pressure to switch straight away, you can take it at your own pace, try out parts of the new programme, and mix and match what works best for your Unit.
