25th World Scout Jamboree

The World Scout Jamboree takes place in South Korea in Summer 2023

The World Scout Jamboree is a World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) event, typically attended by several tens of thousands of Scouts from around the world aged 14 to 17. It takes place roughly every 4 years and is hosted by a different country each time.

The next World Scout Jamboree will take place in South Korea in Summer 2023, and UK scouts who will be aged 14-17 years old may be lucky enough to attend as part of the diverse and engaging UK Contingent.

Thinking about planning an adventure?

The big trip to the jamboree in South Korea is the main event, but being part of the UK Contingent is a longer commitment which includes preparing, learning, and getting to know your fellow UK scouts too! As an attendee you may be part of the Contingent for a year or more before the big trip, and you may be invited to attend pre- event activities.

Watch this space for important updates, and tell your local scout leader if you're thinking about attending as a participant.

We encourage participants and volunteers from all walks of life in the UK Contingent, and we hope to make our next World Scout Jamboree the most inclusive experience possible for members.
