UK Rep Pool
Meet new people. Share ideas. Shape an adventure.
The UK Rep Pool is a group of 18-25 year olds from around the UK who represent Scouts at events in the UK and abroad.
The events we go to vary from conferences and seminars, to workshops hosted by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and other international youth organisations.
We take the learnings and inspiration from these events and make sure they’re given to the different teams at UK Scouts and locally.
As a Rep Pool member, you’ll get to join a training day once a year. You’ll also keep up to date with the Rep Pool on bi-monthly calls to:
- know what’s currently going on in World Scouting.
- feedback on any events you’ve been to.
- potentially feedback on other pieces of work being done by UK Scouts teams.
- learn from other members.
The UK Rep Pool get to join lots of different events. Due to the nature of our work, we’re not always sure what events are coming up, so we can’t always guarantee Rep Pool members will be able to attend certain events.
Here are a few past events we’ve been to:
You’ll start with an initial term of one year, which can be extended to two years, depending on your age and level of involvement.
This means we can offer the experience to as many 18–25 year olds as possible, while keeping more experienced volunteers on board for events during the handover period.
If you’re aged 24, we're only able to offer you a one year terms, since the Rep Pool is only designated for 18–25 year olds.
Recruitment is currently closed. Please check back again in 2024 for any recruitment updates.
