Involving Parents
A Parent's Guide to Scouting
The new and updated versions of the parent pack (previously Where Did All That Mud Come From?) is now available. A parent's guide to Scouting is designed to give parents the information they need when their child first joins Scouting, what happens in Scouting and how they can help.
The booklets have been produced to help Leaders engage parents and encourage them to get more involved with Scouting.
Using camps to recruit parents
Family camps are a brilliant way for the whole family to give Scouting a go. If you keep adult recruitment in mind from the get-go, you can use a family camp to convince parents to volunteer.
