UK International Team

We are delighted to introduce a role speficially designed to support the Peace Light within the UK International Team.

The Peace Light of Bethlehem is a powerful symbol of peace, hope and international friendship. Each Advent, the Light is lit in the Grotto of the Nativity in Bethlehem before being transported to Austria, where Scouts from across the world gather to receive and share it. From there, the Light is carried across borders and into communities around the world. As a member of this team, you will help ensure the UK’s participation is meaningful, youth-led and nationally coordinated. From supporting young delegates attending the international ceremony, to coordinating the Light’s journey to Gilwell Park, to building a network that enables the Light to reach every Nation and Region, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to something deeply significant.

You will play a key role in strengthening partnerships, empowering young people to lead, and ensuring the Peace Light connects Scouts and communities across the UK.

If you are passionate about international Scouting, collaboration, and creating opportunities for young people to engage with a global movement for peace, we would love to hear from you.
