Rebecca Armstrong
As UK Lead Volunteer for Inclusion, Rebecca leads our UK Inclusion Team.
Rebecca is deeply passionate about making sure Scouts is a truly inclusive movement, one where everyone feels safe to be themselves and experiences a genuine sense of belonging.
Her commitment to inclusion comes from her own lived experience with Multiple Sclerosis and Neurodiversity, which have shaped both her perspective and her journey as a Scout volunteer.
Professionally, Rebecca is a Child and Adult Psychotherapist, bringing compassion and insight to her work with individuals and teams. With a background as a Senior Leader and consultant, she has supported organisations to weave inclusion into their leadership, culture, and strategy.
Rebecca is an accomplished international speaker and advocate for inclusion. She has delivered a TEDx Talk and worked with global organisations to create environments where everyone can belong and thrive. As a coach and facilitator, she helps people overcome barriers, celebrate their identities, and reach their full potential.
Holding qualifications in Human Resources, Leadership, Coaching, and Psychotherapy, Rebecca combines expertise with empathy in everything she does. She has also served as a Trustee for the County Durham Community Foundation and MS-UK; continuing her lifelong commitment to creating positive change and empowering communities.
Rebecca is a local volunteer in Durham where she leads Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs.
