Session summary
The adventure continues for Squirrels as they have the chance to build their own den – a Scouts activity they’ll continue to do in different ways as they grow in Scouts! Once each group has worked together to make a blanket fort, they can have fun decorating it and enjoy a safe, cosy space to relax together.
Safety message
- Always complete a register at the start of the meeting to record who is present.
- Activities start when the first person arrives and end when the last person leaves, including leaders and their children.
- Check the space is for hazards, keep the exits clear, and know the location of the nearest first aid kits.
