Service Planning and Delivery Team

Four Queen's Scouts or King's Scouts will have the privilege of creating and delivering the National Scout Service in St George's Chapel. They're mentored over a few weekends to generate, plan and deliver an inclusive act of reflection and thanksgiving to their fellow Queen’s Scouts and King's Scouts and invited guests.

If you'd like to take part, the role is open to any member of Scouts who's achieved their Queen's Scout Award or King's Scout Award. You'll also need to be aged 18-26 at the time of the event, or paraded in the last event.

There'll be training one weekend a month from December-March, which you'll need to commit to, as well as attending the Day of Celebration and Achievement in spring. The full details of the training weekends are in the application form.

"Being part of the service team was a fantastic experience. The opportunity to run a service in such a historic and beautiful setting and with the aim of celebrating and inspiring the Queen Scouts was truly unique, not to mention the amazing people that I met along the way. An experience I'll never forget!" - Kirsten, Service Planning and Delivery Team member.

"Working to develop the service was a great experience. With an open brief we could be really creative in our vision. Seeing it all come together on the day and the response of the Queen's Scouts was something really special." – Alan, Service Planning and Delivery Team member.
