How the reviews will work

How the reviews will work

Our values will be central to our approach, especially respect, integrity, care and co-operation.

Between them, the reviews will consider:

  •  Previous learnings from the WSJ in Japan (2015) and USA (2019).
  • All relevant documents which informed the decision-making and risk management for the Scout Association’s involvement.
  • An analysis of views from UK adult attendees at the World Scout Jamboree, gathered through an online survey.
  • An analysis of views from young people who attended, gathered through an online survey; and of their parents, gathered via district and county submissions.
  • A review of supporting statements, complaints and whistleblowing submissions received to date about the World Scout Jamboree.
  • Interviews with key people involved in the crisis planning and management, or in the operational learnings following.
