This guidance supports the safe provision of food and drink during all Scouting activities, in line with the Scouts' Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR) and UK Legislation.

Most Scout groups are not considered food businesses, so do not need to register with the local authority. If you're unsure whether you should be registered as a food business, ask your local food safety team.
