The World Scout Jamboree is the largest gathering of Scouts from around the world, with an estimated 40,000 expected to gather in Poland, 2027. Find out more about the Jamboree by clicking here.
We are looking for more amazing, energetic and resilient volunteers to support the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027 by joining the 580 International Service Team (IST) volunteers already part of the UK Contingent.
As the Jamboree organisers begin planning the 9,000 IST roles needed to deliver the event, they have identified a number of additional positions that still need to be filled. We're therefore opening a further opportunity for volunteers in the UK to join the adventure.
It takes a huge variety of skills, personalities and strengths to fill the 9,000 IST roles at the Jamboree. From serving breakfast and delivering activities, to planning logistics, supporting operations and solving problems behind the scenes, every role helps create an unforgettable experience for young people from around the world.
Applicants from the initial recruitment round are welcome to apply again, reflecting on the skills and experiences they've developed since their previous application.

Key Information
The 26th World Scout Jamboree takes place in Gdansk, Poland from 30 July – 8 August 2027.
The specific role of an individual IST member can vary from one person to the next. Roles for the Jamboree will be allocated by the Jamboree Organising Team in Poland closer to the time of event. The UK Contingent will work closely with the organisers to help match people to suitable roles wherever possible, but final role allocation sits with the Jamboree Organising Team.
The fee for a member of the IST will be £2660. The fee will include travel to, and attendance at the Jamboree, food, accommodation, a UK-based preparation event, UK Contingent kit, and insurance.

Applicants will be invited to an online selection event designed by the UK Contingent. There are several sessions taking place over two weeks and you can attend a date and timeslot which suits you. You can expect to be on the virtual call for 90 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
The All Adults Weekend will take place at Gilwell Park, 14-16 May 2027.
Yes. We will take this opportunity to ensure that you're fully prepared for the trip, and your role at the Jamboree. It's important that you can attend this event in person, as it will be our main opportunity to prepare and support you before the Jamboree.
As this cohort of IST members will be joining the journey at a later stage, there are fewer costs associated with their participation. For example, they will attend one UK-based preparation event rather than two. As a result, the fee for this recruitment round is £100 lower than the fee paid by IST members recruited in the initial round.
