Session summary
Start Saturday morning with creative crafts, fun games, and a moment of kindness and reflection to set a positive tone for the day.
Safety message
- Plan in time to pack away and clear up camping equipment and items in a safe way, to avoid rushing and causing harm.
- Encourage parents and carers to pick young people up on time and have a clear plan for what to do if a parent is late picking up.
- Encourage volunteers to check in after returning home to ensure they are safe and well, especially if they are tired.
- Check in with your InTouch person, once the sleepover has finished, so they can be informed and officially stand down from supporting the camp.
