Chloe Kembery

Meet our Executive Director of Fundraising and Marketing

As Executive Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Chloe is responsible for Scouts’ marketing, social media, PR, brand and internal communications. Her team support members and volunteers across the UK, and share the story of how young people in Scouts gain skills for life. Her team also look after celebrity ambassadors, including Chief Scout Dwayne Fields.

Chloe joined Scouts during 2020 after working as Director of Communications at the British Council, where she led campaigns and media partnerships promoting education and culture in more than 100 countries. Previously she headed up award-winning teams at Kew Gardens, the European Science Foundation and at the Natural History Museum.

Chloe is a guest lecturer in communications and digital media for the University of Westminster, the most internationally diverse university in the UK. She is a regular mentor for a number of charities, supporting young people developing their careers. She also has a strong family connection to Scouts, as the sister of a 1st Shipley Scout, the daughter of a Scouts Chairman, and the granddaughter of a King’s Scout.
