Chris Lomas

Chris Lomas has been an adult volunteer in Scout for more than 25 years and has held a variety of roles at group, district, county and national level. Chris is currently County Programme Team Lead (Adventure and International) in West Lancashire and Group Leader Volunteer at Crawford Village Scout Group.

Chris has previously held roles including Cub and Scout Leader, District Treasurer, County and District Trustee, Deputy County Commissioner, UK Technical Adviser (Kayaking and Traditional Rafting) and Deputy UK Contingent Leader for the World Scout Jamboree in 2015 to Japan.

Outside of Scouts Chris is Chair of Governors at Crawford Village Primary School, is an Operational Team member and Chair of Trustees at Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and is a Deputy Lieutenant in Lancashire.

Professionally Chris is Chief Technology Officer at CoEditor and Old Queen Street Media, building software applications for the publishing and media industries.
