Callum Jones

Callum comes from a family of Scouts and spent much of his childhood on camps with the group his father volunteered with. He joined the movement in Beavers and stayed through to Network where he achieved his Queen’s Scout Award and Explorer Belt.

He has volunteered with Scouts in a variety of roles including as a Cub and Explorer leader, Assistant Area Commissioner and Youth Lead for ScoutsCymru. Currently Callum is the Lead Volunteer of his local group in Aberystwyth.

Away from Scouts, Callum assists charities and voluntary groups to support their communities and local people. He is also a trustee for the Wales Council for Voluntary Action and spends his free time hiking, kayaking and paddleboarding.
