The Art Collection
We hold an amazing art collection that documents Scouts activities, personalities and places. The Collection is not restricted to paintings, as it also contains a wide range of sculpture and decorative art.
Robert Baden-Powell, who started Scouts, was a talented artist. He provided illustrations for Scouts-related publications, as well as sketching and painting as a hobby.
Resources
Working in partnership with Art UK has enabled the digitisation of all the oil paintings and a selection of the sculptures held in the Collection.
These are available to view through the ArtUK website. They can also be purchased through print on demand on their online shop.
