44th World Scout Conference Solidarity Fund

Our aim is to make the 44th World Scout Conference the most inclusive and accessible yet. To help us achieve this we have set up a solidarity fund to support participants from countries that may otherwise find attending the conference financially challenging.

We know the power of bringing people together in person, and this fund will directly help those that might not otherwise be able to attend. By having more diverse voices, we can grow a stronger future for World Scouting.

Find out more about how the Solidarity Fund has supported people from all over the globe at previous World Scout Conferences.

Before the Conference, I was unsure whether my voice mattered in the global Scout Movement. Thanks to the Solidarity Fund, I not only attended my first World Scout Conference, but I spoke up in meaningful discussions, connected with global peers, and returned home with renewed purpose. This support gave me more than a ticket — it gave me confidence.

Donate old or leftover currency

An easy way you can support the World Scout Conference Solidarity Fund is by donating any old or leftover foreign currency. All coins and notes are accepted - even if they are no longer in circulation.

Every donation is converted into pounds and will directly support someone in attending the Conference in 2027 that wouldn't otherwise be able to.

You can find out more information, including how to donate your currency here.

Friends of the Conference

We are looking to build a Friends of the Conference network to help support our solidarity fund, with exclusive benefits made available to this group. These will include:

  • Updates from the World Scout Conference Delivery Team
  • A Friends of the Conference pin badge

To become a Friend of the Conference, we are asking for a minimum donation of £100 to the solidarity fund. You can make this donation using the details on the right.
