The Omaze Million Pound House Draw, the Wirral
In October and November 2024, Scouts were proudly supported by Omaze

Lauren Keene (24), the youngest Omaze Grand Prize Winner to date, won a stylish house on the Wirral, worth over £3,000,000, along with £250,000 in cash after entering the Omaze draw.
And the best part? She and the Omaze community helped Scouts and a new generation of young people just by entering!
As well as making Lauren a multimillionaire, the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, on the Wirral and The Great Escape House Draw, Wales, raised £3,500,000 for Scouts. This will fund new places in Squirrels, giving over 60,000 4 to 6 year olds the chance to start their Scout adventure – and all the fun, skills and confidence that go with it.

By entering the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, the Wirral, not only were people in with the chance to win this stylish house in Caldy, but their entry also supported Scouts to give young people the skills, friendship and encouragement they need to succeed.
In our most deprived communities, children are falling behind their peers because they don't have access to the same high quality early education opportunities. Studies show that disadvantaged 4 to 6 year olds in England are already a full term behind their wealthier counterparts. By the time they take their GCSEs, this gap grows to a staggering 18 months.
Scouts can help close that gap.
With Squirrels (Scouts’ programme for early years children), young people meet locally each week across the UK, supported by volunteers. They get to have fun, learn skills and build connections through storytelling and outdoor play. This is about igniting a spark of curiosity in every child, building the confidence to chase their dreams, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
