Session summary
Make some mini craters like the ones on the moon using pebbles.
This activity is split into two sessions, session 3 and 4. In session 3 we learnt about 'The marvellous Moon'. In this session we will learn about 'what the Moon looks like' and then 'make Moon craters'.
Safety message
- Always complete a register at the start of the meeting to record who is present.
- Remember to review your risk assessment to ensure you have enough adults, which maybe more than the minimum ratio.
- Check the space is for hazards, keep the exits clear, and know the location of the nearest first aid kits.
