Session summary
Get into space by creating Earth out of natural materials, then invent your very own planet! While you’re there, why not create some space helmets for your teddies and take them along for the ride too?
Safety message
- Always complete a register at the start of the meeting to record who is present.
- Activities start when the first person arrives and end when the last person leaves, including leaders and their children.
- Check the space is for hazards, keep the exits clear, and know the location of the nearest first aid kits.

- Pictures of Earth (optional)
- Tuff tray / play tray – a large strong plastic tray with raised sides, which is useful for messy activities (optional)
