In this session you will go on a bug hunt to discover what you can find near your meeting place

Plan and be mindful of changing weather conditions, communicate and set boundaries clearly, and have a backup plan just in case.
Stay in groups, have a buddy system in place, be aware of your surroundings, and have designated meeting points.
Remember to review your risk assessment to ensure you have enough adults, which may be more than the minimum ratio.
Always remember to risk assess and plan for free time, even if it's just the first five minutes of the meeting.
If you are meeting or going out from your usual meeting place, remember there must be a designated leader in charge, who is not counted in the adult to young person ratio.
Complete frequent headcounts, especially during transitions and activities, to ensure no one is missing and everyone remains safe.
