We’re thrilled about the fantastic news that Allan Simpson has been elected to the European Scout Committee at the 25th European Scout Conference.

Allan brings a wealth of experience, passion, and leadership to this important role. His election is a proud moment not only for UK Scouting, but for young people across Europe who believe in a better world through Scouting.

He will join five other Committee members who are responsible for the strategic development and growth of the movement. They provide support and direction to Member Organisations (MOs) and work together to enable more young people to benefit from the transformational impact of Scouts.

From his beginnings as a young Scout to his tireless work internationally, Allan has always embodied our values of unity, service, and global citizenship. We can’t wait to see the positive impact he’ll make on Scouting across Europe.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to all the candidates for an inspiring and friendly campaign, we had 11 talented Scout Leaders from every part of our region. The Scouts wish this new committee all the best in leading our region.
