This UK Parliament Week (24 to 30 November), we're thrilled to lead the charge as an official partner via each of the Nations. Here's how your Group can receive a free kit and take part.

Each year, UK Parliament Week gives young people the opportunity to learn what Parliament is, what it does and how they can influence change.

From receiving a free kit full of resources, to running a range of activities, there're lots of ways your Group can join in the fun.

The image shows a purple background with white icons on with the text UK Parliament Week 2025 24-30 Nov 2025 in the top left hand corner. There are five Scouts to the right of the image all in uniform and wearing neckers while smiling at the camera with their arms crossed in front of them

Why should we get involved in UK Parliament Week?

UK Parliament Week is an exciting opportunity for young people to engage with democracy and take action on issues they care about. Last year, over 2.4 million people took part across the UK and beyond.

It’s super easy to organise. When you sign up, you’ll get a free UK Parliament Week kit that’s packed with resources to make your activities engaging and easy to plan. Depending on how much time you have, there’re lots of options and you can tailor activities to suit your Group’s age and interests.

What are some fun activities for getting started?

From lively debates to creative crafts, there’s something for every Section:

  • Host a debate or quiz about Parliament
  • Discuss issues and hold a vote
  • Create petitions or run a themed assembly
  • Invite your local MP, a member of the Lords, or other elected representatives to your meeting (in person or virtually)
  • Get creative with baking, crafting, or colouring

Need more inspiration? Check out our Activity Finder or explore UK Parliament Week's online resources to kickstart your planning.

The image shows Scouts' Youth Advocates stood on grass with bushes and flowers behind them. The group of 9 are all wearing navy Scouts polo tops with red white and navy neckers. They're stood as a group with their hands behind their backs and they're smiling at the camera.

How can we link it to our Scouts Manifesto?

UK Parliament Week is the perfect opportunity to share our Scouts Manifesto with elected representatives and show how Scouts are making a difference. Take a look at our guidance for working with decision makers and make sure your activities align with our campaigning rules.

Can we let you know what we’re up to?

Yes! We’d love to see your UK Parliament Week in action. Share your photos and updates using the hashtag #UKPW and follow @UKParlEducation for the latest news.

Snap high-resolution photos and email them to [email protected] and they might feature in next year’s booklet.

If your Section arranges a visit with an MP, please complete this form to let me (Eddie Ward from our Public Affairs and Advocacy Team) know about your plans.

Let’s make UK Parliament Week 2025 unforgettable for Scouts across the UK. Together, we can empower young people to learn, engage, and lead!
