Share

Whether you’ve a question about how your young person can join Scouts or how to get a minibus permit, the Scout Support Centre are on hand to help.

From 1 January 2024, the Information Centre will be renamed the Scout Support Centre. This name change helps explain more of what the Scout Support Centre does, whether you’ve a question about Scouts or need some support.

There’s also a new, simpler email address for you to contact us on, which is [email protected]

Answering your questions

The Scout Support Centre are on hand to give advice on everything Scouts. They can signpost you to information about fundraising and grants, provide guidance for your programme, answer your questions about Nights Away and the adventurous activities Scouts can take part in and much more.

If there’s anything you’re unsure about, simply contact the Scouts Support Centre and a friendly member of the team will be on hand to help.

Supporting volunteers

You might not be aware but the team are able to do so much more than answer questions. The team handles over 5,500 queries every month, and are able to provide members support with our membership system and help with disclosures. The team can even issue a Section 19 minibus permit so Scouts can get out on their adventures.

Get in touch

Along with a new name, the Scout Support Centre is now contactable by a new email. You can drop us an email at [email protected]

You’ll still be able to get in touch the usual ways, and our old email [email protected] will still reach the team.

Our live chat is the quickest and easiest way to get in touch, we’re usually online Monday to Friday 9am to 4.45pm to answer any question. You can also click the purple support button on the bottom right of every page.

If you’d like to speak to one of the team, you can request a call back by filling in our short contact form, and a member of the team will get back to you.

Updating your resources

We know that locally you may have resources and webpages which link to the Information Centre to give your volunteers further support. Please do feel free to update them with the new name and email. This’ll help new and existing volunteers know where to go for help if they need it.
