Safeguarding learning for Lead Volunteers

Safeguarding learning for Lead Volunteers builds on all member safeguarding learning and provides support and guidance for you in your role. This three-hour session is a facilitated online session. Prior to attending you must complete the current mandatory safeguarding learning and have a valid Lead Volunteer role (at District/County/Area/Region level) or Volunteer Safeguarding Lead accreditation.

The session is based on learning from recent cases and allows participants to explore the nature of grooming and other safeguarding concerns, with a focus on the role played by relevant Lead Volunteers and Volunteer Safeguarding Leads when working with the UK HQ Safeguarding Team.

The session capacity is 40 people.
