Duke of Edinburgh Lead training

The next Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Lead training for any new County or District DofE Leads is taking place on Monday 3 November 2025.

Please pass onto anyone you think might need to do this training. This needs to be recorded on the membership system for the DofE Lead Accreditation to be active.

This course is for all DofE Leads to introduce them to their role and consists of an eLearning module and 3 hour online workshop.

The course covers the knowledge and skills needed for the role including starting participants on their DofE journey; supporting programme choices; managing expeditions and assessors; signing off awards and celebrating achievement; supporting completion of Scout Top Awards and managing DofE provision.

This eLearning module needs to be completed prior to attending.
