YouShape Award: Central badge badge

At Scouts, young people learn how to speak up and take the lead. But they told us that the programme didn’t recognise this enough. That’s what the new YouShape Award is all about.

How to earn your badge:

  1. Choose one thing you’d like to improve at Cubs. Work with a parent or carer, Young Leader, or leader to make it happen.

This could be learning a new skill, developing your current talents or interests, or changing something about Cubs.

Tips

  • Once a young person has set their goal in conversation with a leader, this central element of the YouShape Award can be presented to the young person.

April 2024.

Requirements can be adapted to suit each young persons abilities. See our guidance on flexibility.
