Chief Volunteer of Wales

Rhian Moore

Rhian leads and manages volunteers across Wales.

Joining Scouts in 2012, she volunteered as Commissioner of Communications for Wales within her first year of membership - working on a host of internal and external campaigns, supporting the launch of ScoutsCymru, and representing Wales as part of development of our new UK brand. Taking on a variety of local roles since, she’s currently supporting Scouts in Pencoed, where she’s an active member of the Scouts Section Team.

Outside Scouts, Rhian is an award-winning communicator and PR professional, working as Head of Internal Communications for Great Western Railway. She also leads a team of volunteers in her role as Chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in Wales.
