Assistant UK Commissioner for People

Anouska Payne

Anouska is the Assistant UK Commissioner for People. Like many volunteers Anouska first became involved in Scouting through her children. Her oldest son joined Keas in Kaiapoi, NZ in 2004 where reputedly the first Scout Patrol was formed. This was the beginning of a family Scouting journey which has seen her children move through from Beavers to Explorers. 

Anouska initially qualified in Business and Finance and was employed in Banking.  Since raising her family, she has trained as a Hatha Yoga Instructor and has diplomas in a variety of complementary therapies. Currently home educating her younger children whilst studying for a degree in Arts & Humanities specialising in philosophy and religious studies.

Within Scouting she is the Cub leader in her village and is honoured to be part of a worldwide organisation who share a single vision: To empower young people to make a positive contribution to society.
