Colin Davidson

Colin is the Assistant UK Commissioner for People (Learning). He became a Cub Scout in the early 1970s when it was the youngest section. He began his adult volunteering as a Venture Scout Leader in 1982 and after completing his Wood Badge was delighted to be asked to join the training team; his connection with training has been continuous since then.  

Colin enjoys delivering training and supporting learners and is active as a County Trainer and Training Advisor in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. He has experience of managing training as a County Training Manager and supporting training as a Regional Training Manager. His wide experience helps him to understand the importance and impact of decisions at all levels of the organisation. 

Colin’s working background is in engineering and engineering sales and latterly as a Volunteering consultant with the National Trust.
