Chloe Kembery

Meet our Executive Director of Engagement

Chloe leads the staff team who support young people’s learning through teamwork and adventure, alongside the teams who build support and visibility for the lifelong impact of that experience.

This remit includes the skills for life that young people learn each week, from 4 year old Squirrels to 24 year old Network members. It includes Scouts' marketing and communications, and all income generated through fundraising. She oversees the relationships with Scouts Royal Patrons and with Chief Scout, Dwayne Fields FRGS.

She joined Scouts in 2020, bringing extensive leadership experience from a series of high-profile charities that inspire the next generation. Directly before Scouts she was the British Council’s Global Communications Director, where she led international campaigns across 100 countries promoting art, culture, language and education.

This built on 15 years leading award-winning communications and marketing teams at the Natural History Museum, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and the European Science Foundation. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and member of the Clore Leadership Programme.
