Secondhand September
This month, people are encouraged to buy only secondhand clothes. A great time to get creative and rescue some pre-loved items.
Activities to try:

Keep in touch with Scout friends around the world, or inspire change in your community.

- Write to your MP and make a difference

International Day of Charity (5 Sept)
Find out more about a charity focusing on a cause you’re passionate about.
Activities to try:
- Learn about local charities in Chatty charities

International Literacy Day (8 Sept)
International Literacy Day is about the importance of literacy and inclusive education for all.
Activities to try:
- Tell everyone your favourite story
- Share a story to tell your community about the lives of refugees and displaced children

Emergency Services Day (9 Sept)
Celebrate our emergency services and brush up on your lifesaving skills.
Activities to try:

Hot Cross Bun Day (11 Sept)

International Day of Peace (or World Peace Day), is dedicated to peace around the world.

Bi Visibility Day (23 Sept)
