The resources below provide an introduction to and overview of The Scout Associations' Adult Training Scheme. They are a great source of information for any questions that you might have about training. The Training Advisers Guide and Adults Personal File also provide information about the validation criteria for each module.

Adult training scheme

The Scouts’ Adult Training Scheme is of particular relevance to County Training Managers, County Commissioners and District Commissioners. It should also be useful to anyone who has a responsibility for the support and training of adults in Scouting.

The aim of Supplementary Module Resource is to provide a place for learners to find all the content about the Supplementary Modules in one place. Supplementary Modules may be completed by choice of the learner, to develop existing learning or due to a suggestion by your Training Adviser.

Independent Learning Workbooks

Workbooks may be used to support individuals where, for accessibility reasons, they cannot complete training independently using the eLearning or complete the eLearning with someone, such as a line manager, Training Adviser, Local/County/Area/Region (Scotland) Training Manager.
