First Aid Training Specialist

We're looking for a volunteer to join our national team providing specialist expertise for first aid training. This role will work with the Volunteer Head of Compliance to make sure that our first aid training for volunteers is fit for purpose and easy to access in a consistent manner.

Outline: To provide technical first aid expertise to help inform developments within first aid training at the Scouts.

Responsible to: Volunteer Head of Compliance

Main Contacts: First Aid COVID-19 Recovery Group, Volunteer Head of Compliance and Programme Assurance Team, Volunteer Head of Training, UK SASU Manager, UK ScoutMed SASU, National Safety Manager and Girlguiding First Aid Adviser.

Appointment Requirements: To understand and accept our polices, have a satisfactory disclosure and to complete training modules Essentials, Safety, Safe Guarding, GDPR and Module 10 First Aid. Be a First Aid Trainer within the Scouts with external expertise in first aid training.
