Assistant Area Commissioner (Events)

Overview of the role

The Assistant Area Commissioner (Events) is an exciting role within BSO, designed to meet the needs of our members in leading a small team to deliver activities and events to our global membership. Events have typically ranged from virtual camps and activities held over Zoom, to our International Jamboree summer camps, which have included Poacher 2017, Chamboree 2018 and Haarlam Jamborette in 2019 .

The AAC (Events) needs to be an individual able to communicate and co-ordinate a team, as well as overseeing the Area Quartermaster who manages the BSO camping equipment.
