Fun and friendship whilst growing and learning. Aged 4-6, our newest and youngest members of the Scouting family are young people who:
- Master new skills and try new things
- Have fun and go on adventures
- Make new friends
- Are curious about the world around them
- Help others and make a difference, on their own doorsteps and beyond
Every week, they gather in groups to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.
Why volunteer
We're Scouts and everyone's welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. We're talking tea makers, activity planners, tidy-uppers and helpers for as little or as much time as you can spare.
As a Squirrels volunteer, you'll be shaping the crucial early learning experiences of our four and five year olds, helping them to build their confidence, speak up, think on their feet and go for it.
You'll work as part of a team, with a clear set of responsibilities matched to the skills you have to share and those you'd like to gain, and flexibility to get involved in a way that works for you.
We'll provide a warm welcome, full training, and plenty of support in your role.
You show up, get stuck in, and make memories for life.
Sounds fun? Worthwhile? It is.
