Research participant information
Hello!
You're being invited to participate in research about the solutions to improve the volunteer experience. Before you decide whether to take part, please read this information carefully and ask us if you have any questions.
What’s this all about?
We’re developing a variety of solutions to improve the volunteer experience. These focus on improving our learning, our roles, how we welcome new volunteers and our digital tools. We’re looking for feedback on what we’re developing to help shape the solutions, making sure they’re fit for purpose.
What would I be asked to do if I took part?
You're being asked to give feedback on proposed changes to improve the volunteer experience. Your feedback will help to shape the final solution.
What personal information will you collect and store?
We're collecting email addresses if you would be happy to be contacted about your feedback. This is not mandatory.
We have asked for your consent to collect and handle your personal information in the consent form. Only the Scouts team, and Girlguiding if you have given feedback on solutions relating to the joint volunteer welcome project, will have access to your personal information. The data will be destroyed within one year after you have provided feedback. If you would like more information about the way we comply with data protection legislation, please get in touch.
Will my participation be anonymous and confidential?
