Introducing the Learning Tree

We want to help everyone understand how learning works for Scout volunteers.

We’ve made some videos and an interactive Learning Tree for that purpose. We want them to be easy to understand, engaging, and to feel Scouty.

The first video gives a quick recap on why learning is changing. We’ve animated it in the same style we’re using for our new learning content.

The next three videos give a quick introduction to the Learning Tree and the future learning volunteers will need to do in their first six months with Scouts after the transformation.

The Learning Tree itself will let you explore the different pieces of learning.

Please note that First Aid is not currently represented in these materials and will be added at a later date.

Have a look at them, and let us know what you think! We’ll use your feedback to improve the tree and the videos.
