Race Round the World programme sessions

These programme sessions have been created to help you journey round the world and have a truly international experience, while keeping your feet firmly in the UK.

What is Race Round the World?

An epic, virtual challenge to raise funds for the Scout Groups hit hardest by COVID-19.

You can take part in the race however you like and wherever you are.

Walk, run, pogo, cycle – even canoe.

You don’t have to physically complete your miles though – you could try one of these fun activities:

What are these sessions?

We’ve created two sessions for each section with our Scouts family from across the world. By taking part, you’ll learn about different countries and cultures and get a truly international experience while keeping your feet firmly in the UK.

One of the sessions is designed for a socially distanced face-to-face meeting while the other’s perfect for an online setting.

How do I get involved?

Sign up and set up your fundraising page.

Get sponsored, travel and log your miles.

Local sections can fundraise together, or Scouts and volunteers can fundraise individually – whichever is easiest.

Either way, we’ll go to the ends of the Earth to help each other.
