Safe Scouting Development Officer

Scouts are looking for a talented Safe Scouting Development Officer to join us at Gilwell Park in London

Core purpose

The Association is seeking to appoint a Safe Scouting Development Officer to join its team to drive forward the delivery of the Department’s continuous development plan, to further protect Young People in Scouts.  The role will reflect on safeguarding, welfare and vetting cases that are managed within the Safeguarding Team, and safety incidents managed by the Safety Team.

This role will involve project management as well as providing specialist advice to these key pieces of work, providing regular updates to the Safe Scouting managers as well as to the Safety and Safeguarding Committees.
