Responsible to: Head of Culture & Learning

Department: People & Culture

Base location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (with hybrid working)

Term: Permanent

Salary: £48,563 per annum, Band F, Level 3 (Inclusive of Outer London Weighting and Market Supplement)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Line management responsibility: Learning & Development Coordinators

A bit about the role

People & Culture is a diverse and dynamic team supporting People needs for over 569 members of staff in a variety of teams across the organisation, from Commercial Services and Support Services to Volunteering Operations, Marketing and Communication, and the Scout Adventures team. This variety of teams keeps things interesting, no two days are the same.

The Learning & Development team are passionate about helping our staff teams to perform to the best of their abilities by providing top quality training to our people. We work collaboratively across the entire organisation to understand and meet the development needs of our greatest asset – our people. 

You'll  have the opportunity to deliver a wide range of formal and informal learning initiatives as well as contributing to the wider organisational culture by working on our wellbeing and engagement initiatives. We have the joy of seeing the difference L&D activities make for our amazing people and mission.

The successful candidate will works closely with leaders to assess the learning needs of their staff and then designs and delivers solutions to meet those needs.
