How to arrange your visa
The Kenyan government have agreed waive visa fees for those visiting the country to take part in the Moot. To take advantage of this, you need to obtain your visa upon entry to Kenya rather than before.
Details will be sent to the authorities in advance. We do not anticipate any significant delays at the airport. Therefore, you should hold onto your passport. Simply bring it with you when you travel to Heathrow. We are clarifying the situation regarding Tanzanian visas for those climbing Kilimanjaro. More information will be available here soon.
Where are we staying in Nairobi?
For the pre-Moot experience in Nairobi, the UK Contingent will be staying at the 680 Hotel. Those choosing travel option A will need to meet us here by 9am on the morning of Sunday 25 July (IST on Friday 23 July).
Make the Moot part of your DofE or Queen's Scout Award
We are pleased to confirm that attendance at the Moot has been approved as a suitable activity for the Residential section of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the Queen’s Scout Award.
If you are planning on using this experience for the residential section please notify the Contingent Management Team and an assessor report will be supplied to you after the event.
